Hector en Helga kwamen een paar weken geleden in opvang. Ze zijn geboren in een omgeving, met velden en bos en vertoefden meestal in een paardenstal. Gezien ze de eerste maanden van hun leven geen menselijk contact hadden, waren ze dus zeer angstig. Toch maakten ze na enkele dagen al kleine stapjes in de goede richting. Ze durfden al liquid snack te likken in de nabijheid van hun opvangmama. Vooral Hector was dapper en nieuwsgierig. Hij laat zich dan ook graag verleiden om met het hengeltje te spelen. Hera hield zich meestal schuil in een holletje of zelfs achter de kast. De laatste dagen maakt ook Hera vorderingen. Ze laat zich aaien,wat ze in t begin heel eng vond. Maar ze went eraan en spint zelfs. Voor Hector is dit dan weer een stap te ver. Hij houdt niet van die handen en bij een poging om te aaien, zal hij blazen of zelfs willen uithalen. Voor een stukje kippenwit of een liquid snack, overwint hij zijn angst en komt meteen tevoorschijn. Gezien beide katjes nog een weg hebben af te leggen qua socialisatie, worden ze als projectkatje geplaatst. Dwz enkel bij rustige mensen met ervaring met bangere katten, die de nodige tijd hebben om de katjes verder te socialiseren. Met kleine kinderen gaan ze ook geen match vormen. En honden zijn ze ook niet gewend.
