Looking for a patient trainer for a kind giant (and a bit inexperienced)! Heisman, a large mixed-breed maremmano, born around January 2022, entered the dog shelter in December 2024. Gets along with other dogs, but we prefer to place him only with female dogs. He is a nice dog with lots of potential and some gaps to fill. He does not yet know how to walk on a leash (but then again, everyone has to start somewhere!), and is not used to human contact. That said, surprisingly he allows himself to be handled and petted, as if saying: "Okay, I'm not sure what you're doing, but I trust you... for now." For him we are looking for a patient and experienced person, who can guide him gently and respectfully, teaching him how beautiful life can be by the side of humans. If you have a heart as big as his and the desire to help him discover a new world, contact us: he's ready to take the first step with you! He is located in a private accredited dog shelter in Basilicata and we adopt him both in Lazio and in the North, after the necessary pre-adoption home checks, vaccinated, spayed, tested for leishmaniasis and of course with a microchip.

Cercasi paziente maestro per un gigante gentile (e un po’ inesperto)! Heisman, meticcio maremmano di taglia grande, nascita presunta gennaio 2022 ed entrato in canile nel dicembre 2024. Va d’accordo con gli altri cani, ma preferiamo affidarlo solo con cani femmine. Lui è un bel cane con tanto potenziale e qualche lacuna da colmare. Non sa ancora andare al guinzaglio (ma si sa, tutti dobbiamo iniziare da qualche parte!), e non è abituato al contatto con l’essere umano. Detto questo, sorprendentemente si lascia maneggiare e accarezzare, come a dire: “Ok, non so bene cosa stai facendo, ma mi fido… per ora.” Per lui cerchiamo una persona paziente ed esperta, che sappia guidarlo con dolcezza e rispetto, insegnandogli quanto possa essere bella la vita al fianco degli umani. Se hai il cuore grande quanto lui e la voglia di fargli scoprire un mondo nuovo, contattaci: è pronto a fare il primo passo con te!
