Herzblatt behindert – na und

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Herzblättchen - disabled, what? Age: born 2024. Gender: maleCompatibility: second animalHousing: apartment without balcony or apartment with secured balconyHealth: dewormed, de-fleaed, chipped, neutered, FiV and FeLV negative tests, vaccinated against cat flu and distemperAdoption fee: 230 eurosWe introduce the infinitely loving and social cat Herzblättchen here. The pictures show a black cat and the few white hairs cannot be documented. What is also very visible is the missing leg. The missing leg is hidden, the left leg is missing. To the story: We were notified of an animal with a partially missing right hind leg. The animal was secured quickly and at the first veterinary visit the leg was completely amputated. Then he came freshly operated and very wild to a foster home. After a very long time he became more and more affectionate and can be stroked today. Fate struck a second time, because the left eye became inflamed and could not be saved. But this little fluffy guy has decided, despite these disabilities, not to give up. He openly interacts with non-disabled fellow cats. He joins them and is accepted. He likes to play with balls. Can climb walls vertically without hesitation. He enters the catwalk without hesitation and likes to lie on top of the cupboard. That's incredible. Now he is listed under the heading Sorgenfellchen and under Cats and Cats. Both don't fit. He is just "in between". Visible with the disabilities and at the same time so active and loving. We wish the little fighter a loving companion or a sweet cat.If the Herzblättchen speaks to you with his charm, please fill out the attached questionnaire. About Herzblatt behindert – na und

What life with Herzblatt behindert – na und looks like

Herzblatt behindert – na und is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Katzenschutzbund Köln in Köln.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Frequently asked

Adopting Herzblatt behindert – na und, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Herzblatt behindert – na und?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Katzenschutzbund Köln handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Herzblatt behindert – na und on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Herzblatt behindert – na und if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Katzenschutzbund Köln will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Herzblatt behindert – na und already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Herzblatt behindert – na und isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Katzenschutzbund Köln early rather than rehoming privately; they know Herzblatt behindert – na und and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
