Hilla is about 3 years old, an orange female cat. Hilla was found as a stray, was born in the wild, but was fed by people and taken in from the cold about a year ago (2023). Hilla was already pregnant when she came to foster care and gave birth to five kittens shortly after. Hilla did not start taking care of her kittens and all except one, a determined fighter, died within a few weeks despite intensive human care. Hilla is now spayed and has learned to live as a house cat in foster care. Hilla has three feline companions, with whom she gets along. Hilla has slowly become more social, but still does not really let people touch her. However, she now moves around the whole house and even eats in the presence of people. She also makes contact by talking and sometimes approaches people on her own, but petting is still not familiar to Hilla, because she is not yet brave enough to try it. Hilla is a calm little girl who might even do well as the only cat. A lively and safe cat companion would certainly not be a problem. Hilla still needs a lot of time and patience to build trust and the opportunity to proceed at her own pace. Hilla on noin 3-vuotias oranssi tyttökissa. Hilla loukutettiin puolivillinä, on luontoon syntynyt, mutta ihmisten ulos ruokkima, talven pakkasilta talteen noin vuosi sitten (2023). Hilla olikin tiineenä ja synnytti pian kotihoitoon tultuaan viisi pentua. Hilla itse ei pentujaan alkanut hoitamaan ja pienet menehtyivät muutaman viikon ikäisinä tiiviistä ihmishoidosta huolimatta kaikki paitsi yksi sinnikäs taistelija. Hilla on toki nyt steriloitu ja on harjoitellut kotikissan elämää kotihoidossa. Seurana Hillalla on kolme lajitoveria, joiden kanssa tulee toimeen. Hilla on kesyyntynyt hyvin hitaasti eikä vieläkään juuri anna ihmisen koskea. Liikkuu kuitenkin jo koko talossa ja mm. syö ihmisen läsnäollessakin. Ottaa myös kontaktia juttelemalla ja omaehtoisesti ihmistä lähestyykin, mutta silittely ei vielä ole tullut Hillalle tutuksi, koska ei uskalla kokeilla sitä. Hilla on rauhaa rakastava tyttönen, joka mahdollisesti pärjäisi ainoa kissanakin. Reipas ja turvallinen kissakaveri ei varmasti silti olisi pahitteeksi. Hilla tarvitsee yhä paljon aikaa ja kärsivällisyyttä luottamuksen rakentamiseen sekä mahdollisuuden edetä omassa tahdissaan tässä.
