Honey Chichester Adoption fee is £350 Neutered female Miniature black and tan 1.5 years Honey is a young, friendly dog whose family have made the difficult decision to surrender her due to significant changes in their circumstances. Over the last six months they have lost the support needed for both their children and Honey, and with an upcoming relocation abroad, they want to ensure she is placed in a stable, suitable home rather than rushed into one. Honey sleeps calmly in her covered crate overnight and for up to four hours during the day. She is currently left during school hours without accidents and is happy to go out with her dog walker once or twice a week. When left alone she may bark occasionally or follow an adult if a toy is taken, but she does not guard food or show destructive behaviours. Out on walks, Honey may bark at the first dog she sees, simply to greet and sniff, but she settles quickly. Her behaviour around cats is unknown. Honey currently lives with children aged four and six, but her family feel she would be best suited to a home with older children or adults only, where she can relax without disturbance, however she may be able to live with another dog. Honey is a loving dog who needs a calm, consistent environment and a family able to give her the attention she has been missing. She will thrive in a peaceful home where she can feel secure and understood.
