Er braucht etwas länger, um sich an neue Situationen zu gewöhnen, taut dann aber bestimmt schnell auf. Nach der Kastration und einigen Untersuchung war klar: Auch Hunter ist, wie unser Katzenpärchen Raven und Quinn, FIV positiv.Was bedeutet FIV Positiv für Dich?Lass Dich bitte von dem Testergebnis nicht abschrecken. FIV (oft als Katzenaids betitelt) ist für Menschen und andere Tiere völlig ungefährlich und nicht übertragbar.Mit liebevoller Pflege, einer recht stressfreien Umgebung, hochwertigem Futter und regelmäsigen Tierarzt Check Ups können FIV positive Katzen ein genauso langes und beschwerdefreies Leben führen, wie andere Katzen auch.Wir könnten uns Hunter sowohl als Einzelkatze, als auch zu einer vorhandenen Katze/Kater mit FIV vorstellen. Außerdem zieht er nur in reine Wohnungshaltung, um sich vor Infektionen zu schützen und andere Artgenossen nicht anzustecken. Über einen gesicherten Balkon würde er sich zB freuen (ist aber kein Muß).
