The Cosoban shelter kennel ends up with a large number of puppies every year. Since the shelter kennel is already completely full, Adina now has to refuse more and more requests for help, in order to have any chance of taking care of the hundreds of dogs already in the shelter kennel. Sometimes, however, some puppies are lucky and happen to be the ones for whom there is space available. A few years ago, a husky-type mother with five puppies was brought to the Cosoban shelter. The person who brought the dog said they found the mother and puppies, but the mother was so people-friendly that they had probably only recently been abandoned by their owner. The puppies grew up together with their mother in the shelter kennel, but despite this, their limited human contact made them shy. Therefore, they remained in the shelter kennel, and once they grew bigger, they had to be separated into two kennels as the mother moved elsewhere. Now the three puppies, Halla, Hile, and Huurre, live in one of the garden enclosures. When visitors enter the kennel, the trio clearly react to the strange situation. Hile and Huurre quickly retreat to the safety of the corner, but the lively Halla stays at a small distance watching the visitors. However, the strange situation is clearly too much for all of them, and the trio tends to freeze in the presence of visitors. When with familiar people, the puppies are clearly more lively. They are used to being outside freely in the fenced yard, and then their playful and more active side comes out. The trio loves to run and play. Hile and Huurre also keep a small distance from people in the yard, but are clearly interested and especially when treats are involved, they will happily circle around the person. Due to their breed, Hile and Huurre are looking for active homes.

Cosoban tarhalla päätyy vuosittain hurja määrä pentuja. Koska tarha on jo ääriään myöten täynnä, joutuu Adina nykyään yhä useammin kieltäytymään avunpyynnöistä, jotta hänellä on minkäänlaisia mahdollisuuksia huolehtia jo tarhalla olevista sadoista koirista. Aina toisinaan joitakin pentuja kohtaa kuitenkin onni ja he sattuvat olemaan juuri ne onnekkaat, joille on vapautunut tilaa. Muutama vuosi sitten Cosoban tarhalle tuotiin huskytyyppinen emo viiden pentunsa kanssa. Koirat tuonut henkilö sanoi löytäneensä emon ja pennut, mutta emo oli niin ihmissosiaalinen, että todennäköisesti heidät oli vasta hiljattain hylätty kodista. Pennut saivat kasvaa tarhalla yhdessä emonsa kanssa, mutta siitä huolimatta vähäiset ihmiskontaktit tekivät pennuista ujoja. Niinpä ne jäivät tarhalle ja kasvettuaan isommiksi heidät oli pakko jakaa kahteen häkkiin emon muuttaessa toisaalle. Nyt pennuista kolme, Halla, Hile ja Huurre, asuttavat yhtä tarhan häkeistä. Vieraiden astuessa häkkiin kolmikko selvästi arastelee outoa tilannetta. Hile ja Huurre vetäytyvät herkästi kopin turvaan, mutta pennuista reippain Halla jää pienen välimatkan päähän tarkkailemaan vieraita. Outo tilanne on kuitenkin selvästi kaikille heistä liikaa ja kolmikko lähinnä jähmettyy vieraiden läsnäollessa. Tuttujen ihmisten seurassa pennut ovat kuitenkin selvästi reippaampia. He ovat tottuneet ulkoilemaan vapaana tarhan aidatulla pihalla ja silloin heidän leikkisä ja aktiivisempi puoli pääsee esiin. Kolmikko rakastaa juosta ja leikkiä. Hile ja Huurre pitävät myös pihalla pientä välimatkaa ihmiseen, mutta ovat selvästi kiinnostuneita ja erityisesti herkuilla jäävät kyllä uteliaasti pyörimään ihmisen lähettyville. Rotuperimästään johtuen Hile ja Huurre etsivät aktiivisia koteja.
