Eigentlich wollten unsere Tierschützerinnen in einem kleinen Waldgebiet nahe des Flughafens im Norden Bosniens nur nach den dort lebenden Straßenhunden schauen und Futter verteilen. Doch schon kurz darauf entdeckten sie zwei winzige Welpen. Einer der Kleinen ließ sich recht schnell sichern, der zweite verschwand zunächst wieder zwischen Büschen und Gestrüpp. Als die Suche schon fast aufgegeben war, kamen plötzlich weitere kleine Gestalten aus ihrem Versteck gekrochen. Einer nach dem anderen. Am Ende waren es fünf Geschwister. Und Ida war eine von ihnen. 🖤 Nachdem alle Kleinen mit Futter und Wasser versorgt und in Sicherheit gebracht worden waren, gingen unsere Tierschützerinnen noch einmal zurück zu ihrer Fundstelle. Dort fanden sie zwischen Müll und Tierknochen ein totes Kalb. Die fünf Welpen hatten sich an seinen Körper gekuschelt, um sich daran zu wärmen. 💔 Ein Anblick, den man nicht so schnell vergisst. Doch für Ida gehört dieses Leben heute der Vergangenheit an. Sie ist in Sicherheit und darf endlich das sein, was sie von Anfang an hätte sein sollen: ein ganz normales Hundekind. Und genau so zeigt sie sich inzwischen auch. Ida ist welpentypisch neugierig, verspielt und dabei, jeden Tag ein bisschen mehr von der Welt kennenzulernen. Spielen, entdecken, Unsinn machen, schlafen, wieder aufstehen und direkt das nächste Abenteuer suchen – schließlich gibt es für so ein kleines Hundemädchen einiges nachzuholen. 🥰 Natürlich steht Ida noch ganz am Anfang ihres Lebens. Stubenreinheit, Leine laufen, alleine bleiben und all die anderen Dinge, die zu einem Leben als Familienhund gehören, muss sie erst lernen. Dafür wünschen wir uns Menschen, die Freude daran haben, ein Hundekind liebevoll und geduldig auf seinem Weg zu begleiten. Aus dem kleinen Welpen, der sich im Wald an seine Geschwister und ein totes Kalb kuscheln musste, soll nun ein Hund werden, der irgendwann abends in seinem eigenen Körbchen liegt – warm, satt und geliebt.
