NEW ARRIVAL: HELP US TURN IVY’S KENNEL STRESS INTO HOME HAPPINESS! Meet beautiful Ivy, a gorgeous medium-sized mixed breed who is looking for her perfect forever family! Born April 2024 and weighing 17kg, she is a lovely, manageable size and has so much love to give. As a new arrival, everything is still a bit overwhelming for Ivy. One of our wonderful volunteers, Jane, spent some time with her and shared this beautiful insight: "Ivy is a sweet girl but is stressed when leaving the kennel. She walks well on the lead and loves affection. She doesn’t have problems with other dogs and shares with Chaplin at the moment. I’m sure away from the kennel and in a calm and loving home she would thrive." The shelter environment can be a lot for a sensitive soul like Ivy, but behind that initial kennel stress is an affectionate, gentle girl who just wants to please. Hearing how well she walks on the lead and how nicely she coexists with her kennel mate, Chaplin, shows just what a fantastic companion she is going to be! We know that once Ivy steps away from the busy rescue environment and settles into a calm, patient, and loving home, she is absolutely going to blossom.
