Izzy's Story: As a young dog, Izzy was found on the streets. She has now lived with her Dutch owners in Turkey for six years, along with other dogs and cats. As a result, she is accustomed to living in a domestic environment and is familiar with living with other animals. Unfortunately, her owners had to return to the Netherlands due to health issues. Izzy and her friend Kaya are now staying in a boarding kennel in Turkey. We would like to ensure that Izzy and Kaya find a new loving home. It would be nice if they could stay together, but that is not a requirement. Izzy is a sweet girl with a cheerful and affectionate character. She prefers to be around people and is always happy to see you. Company and attention make her happy, and she enjoys being part of her family's daily life. During walks, Izzy sometimes walks more slowly, possibly due to her short legs, but she loves going out. Due to a past car accident, her vision has become less good. As a result, she can be a bit cautious with new people at first. Once she gets to know someone and gains their trust, she would love to receive attention and cuddles all day. Izzy enjoys it when you talk to her and she knows how to use her puppy eyes very well when she wants something. Het verhaal van Izzy: Als jonge hond is Izzy op straat gevonden. Inmiddels heeft ze zes jaar bij haar Nederlandse baasjes in Turkije gewoond, samen met andere honden en katten. Ze is daardoor gewend aan het leven in een huiselijke omgeving en kent het samenleven met andere dieren. Haar baasjes moesten helaas wegens gezondheidsproblemen noodgedwongen terugkeren naar Nederland. Izzy en haar vriendinnetje Kaya verblijven nu in een pension in Turkije. Wij willen graag zorgen dat Izzy en Kaya een nieuw liefdevol thuis vinden. Het zou fijn zijn als ze bij elkaar kunnen blijven, maar dat is geen voorwaarde. Izzy is een lief dametje met een vrolijk en aanhankelijk karakter. Ze is het liefst in de buurt van mensen en is altijd blij om je te zien. Gezelschap en aandacht maken haar gelukkig, en ze geniet ervan om deel uit te maken van het dagelijkse leven van haar gezin. Tijdens wandelingen loopt Izzy soms wat rustiger, mogelijk vanwege haar korte pootjes, maar ze vindt het heerlijk om eropuit te gaan. Door een auto-ongeluk in het verleden is haar zicht minder goed geworden. Daardoor kan ze in het begin wat voorzichtig zijn bij nieuwe mensen. Zodra ze iemand leert kennen en vertrouwen krijgt, ontvangt ze het liefst de hele dag aandacht en knuffels. Izzy vindt het gezellig als je tegen haar praat en ze weet haar puppy-oogjes uitstekend te gebruiken wanneer ze iets graag wil.
