At 12 years old, Izzy still has plenty of enthusiasm for life! This friendly girl has greeted everyone warmly and settled beautifully during her time in a foster home. She enjoys affection and will happily spend time beside her people after an outing. Izzy loves exploring, following interesting smells and putting her nose to good use. She is also a keen player: offer her a tennis ball or soft toy and she’ll fetch it back for another go. With her love of walks, games and company, Izzy would suit someone looking for an active companion with plenty of personality. Izzy is looking for a family who enjoy getting outdoors and have time for walks, games and company. She enjoys canine company on walks, although she can sometimes bark at other dogs and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Izzy is housetrained, travels well in the car and has previously been comfortable spending up to four hours alone. This should be built up gradually once she has settled. She enjoys being brushed and stroked, but can become uncomfortable with prolonged handling or examinations.
