SENSITIVE GENTLEMAN JAANUS WANTS TO MEET EMPATHIC HUMAN BEINGS. The 2022 born Jaanus arrived at Pesaleidja cat shelter on 12.02.2026 from Liiapeksi village, Kuusalu. Charismatic Jaanus has only lived a few years in this beautiful life, but has seen and endured enough. His spirit and nature are very sensitive, and the cat's wish is to find empathic people who can offer him a home.... Jaanus also asked to explain what he means by that. Empathy has many definitions. In common usage, the word "empathy" has two meanings. The first refers to when a person perceives and feels other people's emotions. In the second meaning, it refers to when an emotionally sensitive person perceives other people's emotions and feels them as their own. Empathy has three dimensions: 1. Understanding (cognitive empathy) - You see the world through another's eyes and understand another's perspective, even if you don't feel the same emotions. 2. Feeling (emotional empathy) - You perceive what another person is feeling. For example, you understand their emotions and can respond in a way that builds trust. 3. Perceiving and responding (empathetic interest) - You understand what another person actually needs from you.
