Jade is a very special cat, the kind that leaves a lasting impression from the very first moment. She was found in the Marbella area by a couple of tourists during their vacation. In the final days of her pregnancy, Jade was searching for food and a safe place to take shelter when she entered the couple’s vacation apartment, where she eventually gave birth to her kittens. Five beautiful kittens were born. Unfortunately, one of them was born with a rare congenital malformation and did not survive. The other four—two males (Jovi and Juno) and two females (Jessy and Joy)—have grown up healthy and happy thanks to their mother’s care and the love they received in their foster home. From day one, Jade proved to be an exemplary mother: attentive, protective, and affectionate, always watching over her kittens. Now that her kittens are ready to start their own lives, the time has come for Jade to find a home of her own. She is a very affectionate cat with people. She loves being close to you, taking part in everything going on around her, and sharing your daily life. She likes to be picked up, lets you handle her without any issues, and loves to climb onto your lap. She is intelligent, curious, and full of energy. She’s not a cat who spends the day hiding or sleeping in a corner; she likes to explore, play, and share daily life with her family. She has a strong personality and sometimes gets excited during play, clearly setting her boundaries. For this reason, we believe she would be a better fit for a family with experience with cats—one that understands her language and respects her pace. We do not recommend her for families with very young children or for people who have never lived with cats before. 💛 Jade has been a wonderful mother.
