Janosch, a male German Shepherd mix, born approximately 2018, neutered, about 60 cm shoulder height, has been at the shelter since 2018. Janosch shares the fate of many dogs at Maria's shelter. Other dogs have come and gone, and he has always been overlooked. His relationship with humans is not the best, as there is only ever a little time for attention. Nevertheless, he is interested, although somewhat suspicious. We wish for him a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show him what a good dog life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay in his new home if he never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe he will be good for one or two positive surprises. At least a confident first-time dog owner, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house, are basic requirements. Since Janosch has only poor placement chances, we would be very happy if someone would take a sponsorship for him. He is currently in Romania and can leave if he finds a home. He will travel chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life at the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 2023 Patin: Sonja J. Janosch, geboren ca. 2018, kastriert, ca. 60 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2018 Janosch teilt das Schicksal, das so viele Hunde bei Maria haben. Andere Hunde kamen und gingen, er wurde bisher immer übersehen. Auch ist sein Bezug zu Menschen nicht der Beste, da immer nur mal kurz Zeit für ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit ist. Dennoch ist er interessiert, wenn auch etwas misstrauisch. Wir wünschen uns für ihn ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihm in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte in seinem neuen Zuhause okay sein, wenn er nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist er dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Janosch nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für ihn übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
