Jasper is looking for an active new home where he can have company through the day. Jasper loves people and long walks, being with his family on the couch after a good swim is his ideal day. Jasper is used to having an outdoor kennel to relax in. He would do well to continue his training. He is hyper and jumpy with visitors at first and then settles. Jasper is very friendly with people and likes to lick them. He will be less jumpy with strangers outside. On walks when meeting other dogs, he will show his hackles but also wag his tail and will paly with friendly dogs, but has always been on the lead before approaching other dogs. Jasper is good on and off the lead and his recall is very good. Jasper is good at the vets and travels well by car. He can be left alone for a few hours. He barks at the window when people go by. He is used to being rinsed down with a hose outside and is fine being brushed. Jasper is used to sleeping in a crate. He will chew at remote controls if they are left idle. Jasper is a very happy and friendly dog, he likes to play now and then with the other dog in his current home, but he loves people and just wants attention and love. Jasper is generally calm in the home except when he barks for attention or at strangers outside. Jasper used to be a gun dog and prefers a good walk in the woods rather than a lead walk in town.
