Lovely Nala is looking for a new home that has a garden to play in. She would prefer to live with another dog, preferably a male. Nala loves having company and has separation anxiety. Nala is very friendly with people, she loves attention. She can jump up a little but responds when told not to. She will want to play or lie down for belly rubs. On walks, she is generally not interested in other dogs as she prefers people. She wears a harness and is not walked off-lead as she has been spooked by fireworks and other loud noises in the past. Her recall is not good when this happens. Nala is still very energetic despite being 9 years old, but she would also be covered under our Old Dog Scheme due to her age.* Nala has separation anxiety and will bark repeatedly if left alone, but she is fine if she has another dog for company. She would do really well if she had an older, relaxed male dog to follow. Nala is nervous at the vets but responds well to reassurance by petting. She is okay at travelling by car. Nala is happy to be washed and brush. She has been to boarding kennels before with no issues. Nala is a very friendly, sweet girl. Nala loves human attention more than anything, she loves playing with a ball and being petted. She enjoys a good walk or play but is also happy to relax and snooze. *OLD DOG SCHEME: Dog Aid Scotland’s Old Dog Scheme covers dogs rehomed at 8 years old or above. This means that we will cover costs for veterinary care for the dog for the remainder of their life within reason. We do not cover costs for routine treatments such as vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. If the dog requires special dietary food we will contribute 50% of the cost.
