She came to the animal shelter together with the cats Whitey and George, as her owner returned to Britain after his wife's death and could not take the cats with him. At first, JAZZ was very shy and hid a lot. Nowadays, she comes out of her hiding place and lets herself be petted. She is still quite nervous but is slowly gaining confidence. Her owner said that at home she was a cuddly cat who enjoyed being with people. For now, she does not want to be picked up, but we believe she would relax in a home environment. JAZZ shares her enclosure with the two other cats she lived with at home. She has a closer bond with George, which is why it would be important for the two to stay together. We do not know whether the two cats have any experience with dogs. A home without children would be better suited for the two. The cats need access to an outdoor area, such as a cat-safe netted balcony or a secure garden. JAZZ is a very loving cat and we think she will show her affectionate side in a home environment. It is difficult for her to feel safe and relaxed at the animal shelter.

Sie kam zusammen mit den Katzen Whitey und George ins Tierheim, da ihr Besitzer nach dem Tod seiner Frau nach Großbritannien zurückgekehrt ist und die Katzen nicht mitnehmen konnte.Anfangs war Jazz sehr schüchtern und versteckte sich viel. Mittlerweile kommt sie aus ihrem Versteck hervor und lässt sich streicheln. Sie ist immer noch ziemlich nervös, gewinnt aber langsam Selbstvertrauen. Ihr Besitzer sagte, dass sie zuhause eine verschmuste Katze war, die gerne mit Menschen zusammen ist. Im Moment möchte sie nicht hochgehoben werden, aber wir glauben, dass sie sich in einer häuslichen Umgebung entspannen würde.Jazz teilt sich ihr Gehege mit den beiden anderen Katzen, mit denen sie zuhause zusammenlebte. Zu George hat sie eine engere Bindung, deshalb wäre es uns wichtig, dass die beiden zusammenbleiben könnten.Wir wissen nicht, ob die beiden Katzen Erfahrung mit Hunden hatten.Ein Zuhause ohne Kinder wäre besser für die beiden geeignet. Die Katzen brauchen Zugang zu einem Außenbereich, wie einem vernetzten Balkon oder gesicherten Garten.Jazz ist eine sehr liebe Katze und wir denken, dass sie in einer häuslichen Umgebung ihre liebevolle Seite zeigen wird. Es fällt ihr schwer, sich im Tierheim sicher und entspannt zu fühlen.
