adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Jenai has found her home! Her story: Jenai is one of eight puppy siblings who were found together with their mother Jella in a ditch and brought to the shelter in Busag. Together with Konrad, Nox, Paris, Hondo, Keani, Mandarine, and Aria, Jenai fought for a second chance – and now, all are waiting for their forever home. Jenai is a very special puppy girl, as she has a problem with her right eye. Our vet suspects that she has limited vision on this eye – it’s likely not completely blind but impaired. Despite this small handicap, Jenai is developing wonderfully and shows a gentle, calm side. She is the smallest in the litter, prefers a bit of a more laid-back environment than her siblings, but always enjoys human contact and blossoms when cuddled. Her black, soft fur and the four white paws – like little socks – make her a real looker. While some of her siblings have already moved to foster homes in Romania, Jenai and Paris still have to stay in the shelter. We give everything to make sure they have a warm and safe spot there, but nothing can replace a family of their own. All siblings are around 2.5 months old and are expected to be medium-sized. Jenai is looking for a loving family that meets her with patience and warmth, gives her time to settle in, and shows her how wonderful security can be – and that the small handicap is not a hindrance but simply a part of her wonderful personality. Thanks to a positive match with Veronika B., Jenai now has an identity and can finally go on the search for her forever home. Date:. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Lieben Dank an Veronika B.. Stand: 19,11,2025

About Jenai

What life with Jenai looks like

Jenai is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jenai, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jenai?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jenai on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jenai if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jenai already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jenai isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jenai and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
