Jerry was rescued from a hoarding situation along with 17 other dogs. They were kept in miserable conditions, in small cages they rarely left, and things only changed when neighbors started protesting and spreading the situation on social media. Then, the municipal shelter in Palmela removed the dogs (54 in total), but distributed them all to private associations in Palmela without even vaccinating or sterilizing them. It was no longer their problem. Jerry is a sweet boy. He is a bit shy on first contact, probably because he never had many social interactions, but he learns quickly and is extremely gentle. He is very sociable with other dogs. He walks well on a leash. Jerry will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.

O Jerry foi resgatado de uma situação de acumulação de animais (hoarding), juntamente com mais 17 cães. Eram mantidos em condições miseráveis, em gaiolas pequenas das quais raramente saíam, e as coisas só mudaram quando os vizinhos começaram a protestar e a divulgar a situação nas redes sociais. Depois, o canil municipal de Palmela retirou os cães (54 no total), mas distribuiu-os todos por associações privadas em Palmela sem sequer os terem vacinado ou esterilizado. Deixou de ser problema deles. O Jerry é um menino doce. É um pouco tímido no primeiro contacto, provavelmente por nunca ter tido muitas interações sociais, mas aprende rápido e é extremamente meigo. É muito sociável com outros cães. Anda bem à trela. O Jerry será entregue vacinado, desparasitado, esterilizado e com microchip.
