Jibbe was left behind with his siblings on a parking lot, without his mother and without food or water. Too young to survive on his own. Fortunately, Elisa found Jibbe and the other puppies and managed to persuade them to come with her. The video below shows how Jibbe and his siblings were found. Jibbe is still a young puppy and how his character will develop is of course difficult to predict. From October 4, 2026, two of our colleagues will visit Alisa's shelter and will get to know Jibbe. Then his page will be updated with new photos and a more detailed character description. In any case, the sooner he leaves the shelter and is well cared for in a nice home in the Netherlands, the greater the chance that he will adapt relatively smoothly to his new life as a beloved family dog. Of course, the transition will be big and that means the first period needs a lot of rest, patience and small steps, so he is not overwhelmed by all the new impressions. From September 27, 2026, Jibbe is ready for a one-way trip to the Netherlands and can, if we have found a good place, join the next transport. Of course, all necessary vaccinations must be in order before departure. In addition, his health will be checked and he will have a registered chip and a passport before departure. Jibbe has not been neutered. Due to the influence on development and behavior, we also do not recommend castration - at least for now. If a suitable adopter or foster family comes forward for him, our foundation will arrange the transport from the shelter, with professional pet transport. Our dogs are brought home one by one to their foster home or their permanent home.

Informatie: Jibbe werd samen met zijn broertjes en zusjes achtergelaten op een parkeerplaats, zonder moeder en zonder eten of drinken. Veel te jong om zelf te kunnen overleven. Gelukkig vond Elisa Jibbe en de andere pupjes en wist ze ze over te halen om met haar mee te gaan. Het filmpje hieronder laat zien hoe Jibbe en zijn broertjes en zusjes gevonden zijn Jibbe is nog maar een jonge pup en hoe zijn karakter zich verder zal ontwikkelen, is natuurlijk moeilijk te voorspellen. Vanaf 4 oktober 2026 zijn twee van onze collega's op bezoek bij Alisa's asiel en zullen ze Jibbe leren kennen. Dan zal zijn pagina aangevuld worden met nieuwe foto's en een uitgebreidere karakteromschrijving. Hoe dan ook, des te eerder hij het asiel zal kunnen verlaten en in een fijn thuis in Nederland goed wordt opgevangen en begeleid, des te groter is de kans dat hij zich relatief soepel zal aanpassen aan zijn nieuwe leven als geliefde huishond. Natuurlijk blijft de overgang groot en betekent dat de eerste periode veel rust, geduld en kleine stapjes nodig heeft, zodat hij niet wordt overweldigd door al die nieuwe indrukken. Vanaf 27 september 2026 is Jibbe klaar voor een enkele reis naar Nederland en kan, als we een goede plek hebben gevonden, mee met een volgend transport. Natuurlijk moeten voor vertrek alle benodigde inentingen in orde zijn. Daarnaast wordt zijn gezondheid onderzocht en heeft hij voor vertrek een geregistreerde chip en een paspoort. Jibbe is nog niet gecastreerd. Vanwege de invloed op ontwikkeling en gedrag raden wij castratie - zeker voorlopig - ook niet aan. Wanneer zich een goed passende adoptant of een gastgezin aandient voor hem, dan regelt onze stichting het vervoer vanaf het asiel, met professioneel huisdiertransport. Onze hondjes worden één voor één thuisgebracht bij het adres van hun opvang of hun blijvende thuis.
