I am Joey and I live here at the Gnadenhof in Herzsprung. Originally, my caretakers wanted to help me find a new home. However, it has now been revealed that I have advanced lung cancer. Therefore, we have decided that I will spend the rest of my life here at the Gnadenhof. I can live in a private environment, have a cozy dog bed and even several of them ;), go for walks with my beloved dog walkers and have found a close friend in my roommate Sonja. Of course, my cuddling moments are not neglected and my caretakers also pamper me with many delicious treats. Even though I could not find a new home, I am doing fine and I am spending my golden years very relaxed. My caretakers also make sure that I am regularly checked by a veterinarian so that my health condition can be closely monitored. I hope I can spend many beautiful and happy months with my beloved two-leggers and my dog friend Sonja and collect many great experiences during that time.

Ich heiße Joey und lebe hier auf dem Gnadenhof in Herzsprung. Eigentlich wollten meine Pflegerinnen mir helfen, ein neues Zuhause zu finden. Doch leider hat sich inzwischen herausgestellt, dass ich im fortgeschrittenen Stadium an Lungenkrebs erkrankt bin. Aus diesem Grund haben wir zusammen beschlossen, dass ich mein restliches Leben hier auf dem Gnadenhof verbringen werde. Ich kann hier mit im privaten Umfeld leben, habe ein kuscheliges Körbchen und davon sogar mehrere ;), gehe mit meinen lieben Gassigehern spazieren und habe in meiner Zimmergenossin Sonja eine enge Freundin gefunden. Natürlich kommen meine Kuscheleinheiten auch nicht zu kurz und meine Pflegerinnen verwöhnen mich zusätzlich mit vielen schmackhaften Leckereien. Auch wenn ich leider kein neues Zuhause mehr finden konnte, geht es mir überhaupt nicht schlecht und ich verbringe meinen Lebensabend ganz entspannt. Meine Pflegerinnen sorgen auch dafür, dass ich stets tierärztlich durchgecheckt werde, damit man meinen gesundheitlichen Verlauf genau verfolgen kann. Ich hoffe, ich kann noch viele schöne und glücklich Monate mit meinen geliebten Zweibeinern und meiner Hundekumpeline Sonja verbringen und während dessen viele tolle Erfahrungen sammeln.
