Adopt JOLIE-FLEUR

French Bulldog · Female · Senior · 12 years

JOLIE-FLEUR is an adorable dog who has lots of love to give! Former breeding dog, she loves her new life in a foster home: cuddles, games, walks, sprinting in the fields, etc. She has a good appetite and listens well. She needs company and can sometimes be a bit too clingy. She gets along well with dogs and would really benefit from having a friend (male or female)! However, she is a bit rough with cats so we will avoid that. Like most bulldogs, JOLIE-FLEUR snores. She is not sick in the car and settles down calmly after a few minutes of travel. Health: JOLIE-FLEUR has "broken" ears due to many untreated ear infections. Hygiene: JOLIE-FLEUR needs to go out regularly to avoid accidents. A garden would be better and easier to manage. Weight in May 2024: 10.8 kg. In foster care with Martine F.

About JOLIE-FLEUR

What life with JOLIE-FLEUR looks like

JOLIE-FLEUR is a senior french bulldog cat waiting at Refuge Rêves de chiens in Viry-Châtillon.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting JOLIE-FLEUR, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about JOLIE-FLEUR?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Refuge Rêves de chiens handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw JOLIE-FLEUR on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt JOLIE-FLEUR if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Refuge Rêves de chiens will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is JOLIE-FLEUR already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if JOLIE-FLEUR isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Refuge Rêves de chiens early rather than rehoming privately; they know JOLIE-FLEUR and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
