Joy is a lovely, young female dog whose life has been fraught with difficulties from the very beginning. She was abandoned by her first guardian—tied overnight to the gate of the Shelter. She quickly found a home, but the family couldn’t handle caring for this energetic and strong dog, who has some TTB blood in her mix. As a result, Joy ended up back where she started—in the shelter’s kennel. We chose the name “Joy” for her, hoping it would bring her happiness, but so far, Joy remains “invisible” to visitors coming to the Shelter. Joy is a dog with tremendous training potential—smart, eager to learn, cooperative with people, and full of love. She loves water, sand, walks in the forest, and wild playtime with volunteers. She absolutely loves practicing commands; she’s taken part in nosework exercises and proved to be an exceptionally talented pupil! She also regularly joins us on “Adopt a Warsaw Resident” campaigns and always gives her all to show just how wonderful she is. She has no problem traveling by car. Joy would benefit most from an experienced guardian who’s ready to work on building her self-confidence and improving her relationships with other dogs—a supportive, patient owner. Collaboration with a behaviorist would be highly recommended, as Joy has already been through too much. Joy is looking for a home with a garden in a quiet neighborhood, free of other pets and children. Joy to śliczna, młodziutka sunia, której los od początku nie szczędził trudności. Została porzucona przez pierwszego opiekuna - przywiązana w nocy do bramy Schroniska. Dom znalazła szybko, jednak ten nie poradził sobie z opieką nad energiczną i silną sunią z domieszką krwi TTB i tak sunia wróciła do punktu wyjścia, czyli do schroniskowej klatki. Wybraliśmy dla niej imię "Joy", mając nadzieję, że przyniesie jej szczęście, ale na razie sunia pozostaje "niewidzialna" dla odwiedzających Schronisko gości. Joy to sunia z ogromnym potencjałem szkoleniowym, mądra, chętna do nauki, współpracująca z człowiekiem i kochająca. Sunia kocha wodę, piasek, spacery po lesie i szalone zabawy z wolontariuszami. Bardzo lubi ćwiczyć komendy, brała udział w ćwiczeniach nosework i okazała się bardzo zdolną uczennicą! Jeździ też z nami regularnie na akcje "Adoptuj Warszawiaka" i zawsze daje z siebie wszystko, by pokazać, jak fajną jest sunią. Nie ma problemu z jazdą samochodem. Joy potrzebuje raczej doświadczonego opiekuna, nastawionego na pracę nad jej pewnością siebie i relacjami z innymi psami, wspierającego i cierpliwego. Wskazana będzie współpraca z behawiorystą, ponieważ sunia przeszła już zbyt wiele. Joy szuka domu z ogrodem w spokojnej okolicy, bez innych zwierząt i bez dzieci.
