04-09-2026 Julian, nog geen 9 maandjes oud en altijd een super lieve pupper. Hij is happy, komt wanneer je hem roept, open en houdt van tijd tot tijd wel van een knuffel. Omdat hij opgegroeid is in de caravan crew is hij super met andere hondjes, spreekt de hondentaal perfect, is bekend met katjes, speelt met de andere hondjes (soms ruw en soms voorzichtig) en krijgt meer aandacht dan de anderen in de kennels, want de vrijwilligers lopen vaak en veel door het caravan terrein. Maar leven in de caravan crew kent ook zijn gevaren. Er zijn regelmatig schermutselingen en ook vanochtend, terwijl deze post geschreven werd, kwam er een bericht binnen: Julian werd aangevallen, ging meteen op zijn rug, maar de aanvaller bleef grommen en ging pas weg toen anderen ‘verhaal kwamen halen’. Julian is echt een lieve, gevoelige jongeman en oooooh wat heeft hij zijn looks mee. Er moet toch iemand voor hem rondlopen? Het begin: Julius verscheen voor de dierenarts praktijk. Soms durf je bijna niet meer de straat op, niet de telefoon meer op te nemen, want daar zou zomaar weer een hondje zijn, die onze zorg nodig heeft. Zaterdag was zo’n dag. Terwijl Giannis en Jamie wachtten op hun beurt, waren Rescuers Zoe en Georgia ook ter plekke en deze kleine man trok de aandacht. Zowel Zoe als Georgia hebben geen ruimte de kleine man op te nemen, dus gebeurt dan… wat er vaker gebeurt; “welcome Julian”. Zoe betaalde voor de Parvo test, eerste vaccinaties en wat al nog niet meer! Super bedankt daarvoor!!! Over zijn verleden is niets bekend, maar zijn toekomst begon op dat moment. Of hij daar op het juiste moment was, waar hij moest zijn. Omdat ook de FTS Safe Haven geen plek heeft, leeft hij momenteel ín de caravan. Tot het veilig is. 18-05-2026 Julian is nu een klein maandje bij ons en heeft zich volledig en soepeltjes in de caravan crew geïntegreerd. Het is lief ventje, die naar mensen een beetje voorzichtig is, maar zolang je niet op hem af komt, maar hem naar jou laat komen is alles goed. Hij ontpopt zich dan als een echte knuffelkont en vraagt met speelse beetjes om aandacht en spelen. Julian is nog niet mee naar buiten geweest op wandeling; hij is er eigenlijk ook nog maar net. En net als we dat met hondjes, die naar Nederland komen doen, doen we het rustig aan. 18-06-2026 “Can you please promote Julian? He is just a big baby! ” En zo komt hij ook over. Julian is nog 100% pup! Julian is lief en aandoenlijk, ligt goed in de roedel en als je de WorkAwayers met hem rond ziet sjouwen, geloof je dat het lulletje lampepit moet zijn. Over Julian valt echt niets anders te vertellen dan over welke andere pup dan ook: Hij houdt van eten, slapen, spelen en knuffelen. Hij is alleen nét iets ouder en nét iets groter. We denken dat hij een fantastisch maatje gaat zijn wanneer hij lekker bij zijn baasje of vrouwtje zou zijn.
