Our JUMPER was born on 14.11.23. He weighs around 41 kg, is neutered, and has a shoulder height of about 63 cm. JUMPER is a young, powerful Rottweiler puppy who is just at the beginning of his journey. He is full of energy, joy, and initiative—but he desperately needs people to show him what a structured, safe life can be like. Those he knows and trusts, he greets with great affection. He loves to lean on and spend time with his trusted people. But sometimes, in his enthusiasm, he forgets his size and strength. When meeting strangers, he is open and neutral. He gets along well with female dogs, but his relationship with male dogs depends on their mutual liking. JUMPER is a dog whose behavior strongly depends on being led by a person. Encounters with other dogs must be consistently managed—without this leadership, he questions situations and makes independent decisions. Therefore, clear structures and reliable trusted people are crucial. Before meeting a JUMPER, resource defense, especially for food and toys, is common. When at the vet or when strangers enter his immediate vicinity, he reacts very explosively. Therefore, safe handling with a muzzle is extremely important and a prerequisite for him. With other dogs, JUMPER is generally well compatible and can also be rehomed with an existing dog. The exception is larger, unneutered male dogs. His social behavior is overall good. For JUMPER, only very experienced, confident people are sought, who are ready to take responsibility, lead consistently, and continue to work with professional support. For this lovable, but demanding little fellow, we are looking for experienced and confident people who ideally already had Rottweilers. He needs a consistent, but fair hand, a lot of patience, and a clear structure to develop into a reliable companion. Children or other animals should not live in his new home.
