Adopt Juna

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 10 months

Animal rescuer: Vania Tzoneva born: approximately July 2025 Gender: female Location: Bulgaria spayed: yes FIV test: negative FeLV test: negative Disabilities: no Compatible with: Children: not known Cats: yes Dogs: not known Requirements: NONE Single housing only suitable for apartment living, NO outdoor access Balcony or terrace desired (if available, safety measures are required) Juna was left on the street in a small village. Vanias father found her there, fed her and took care of her. Soon after, she followed him like a little puppy everywhere. When he returned from his hut, where he regularly checks on things in winter, he took Juna along with him. Since then, Juna has been under the care of our animal rescuer, where she is lovingly cared for and waiting for a home of her own. At our animal rescuer, Juna shows herself to be a very affectionate cat with a very cute and open nature. She likes to play without being overexcited, and also enjoys relaxed breaks in between. She is open and friendly towards people and likes to be petted. Juna gets along very well with other cats and clearly feels comfortable in cat company. The little Juna would now like to pack her bags and move into a loving forever home.

About Juna

What life with Juna looks like

Juna is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Juna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Juna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Juna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Juna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Juna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Juna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Juna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
