Jonah Davie

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 7 months

Jonah, Davie, and their sister Gina were found by children in April. The three little ones were in a bad condition, their eyes were stuck together and they had a cold. The children took them home, but the sweethearts couldn't stay there. A friend of Virginia learned about it and asked her for help. Virginia immediately agreed - but the friend had to take the kittens first, because the shelter was overcrowded. In the meantime, the three have arrived at Virginia and may wait there for their humans. Jonah and Davie have recovered really well. If you see the two today, you can hardly believe in what condition they were found. Nothing is left of the sick little fellows - they are now playing, romping and curiously exploring everything there is to discover. The two are sweet, open-minded and get along great with other cats. They enjoy the attention of their humans and are of course always up for a little game. They love to do everything together. Jonah and Davie have left their difficult start behind. Now all that's left for them is the big adventure - the journey into their new life. We very much hope that someone will soon give two happy, playful cat boys their heart and look forward to a lot of life, cuddling and purring in double pack.

About Jonah Davie

What life with Jonah Davie looks like

Jonah Davie is a large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jonah Davie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jonah Davie?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jonah Davie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jonah Davie if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Jonah Davie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jonah Davie isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jonah Davie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
