Thilo has been with us at the shelter since September 2026. He knows cats and children, but is uncertain and wants to learn more. He is a 18-month-old male Pomeranian who was given up due to time constraints. He is already familiar with living with children and cats. He gets along with female dogs, but we cannot yet assess how he reacts to other male dogs. Thilo is generally suitable as a second dog. He is nice and friendly towards people and is very people-oriented. At the same time, he is currently uncertain and is easily startled by loud or sudden noises. In situations that overwhelm him, he seeks and uses orientation with his caregivers. This is a good foundation for further training to increasingly provide him with security. Pomeranians are known to be verbal and enjoy commenting on various situations. He also reacts to noises in the house and reports them accordingly. Thilo is already familiar with being alone for a few hours. However, he is still uncertain about driving and cannot currently handle car rides calmly as he often feels sick. He should be worked with patiently and in small steps. Thilo has not experienced much in his life so far. Therefore, there is still much for him to discover and learn. People who approach him with calmness, patience and clear orientation are needed, giving him the necessary time to get to know new situations and become increasingly confident. Thilo has a good foundation for this: he likes to orient himself towards people, seeks their proximity and wants to learn a lot with his caregivers. Thilo ist seit September 2026 bei uns im Tierheim. Aus der – kennt Katzen und Kinder – unsicher, möchte noch viel lernen – rassetypisch verbal Thilo ist ein etwa 18 Monate alter Zwergspitz-Rüde, der aus Zeitgründen bei uns abgegeben wurde. Das Zusammenleben mit Kindern und Katzen kennt er bereits. Mit Hündinnen zeigt er sich verträglich, wie er auf andere Rüden reagiert, können wir derzeit noch nicht sicher einschätzen. Grundsätzlich ist Thilo als Zweithund geeignet. Menschen gegenüber ist Thilo nett und freundlich und zeigt sich sehr menschenbezogen. Gleichzeitig ist er aktuell noch sehr unsicher und reagiert insbesondere auf laute oder plötzlich auftretende Geräusche schreckhaft. In Situationen, die ihn überfordern, sucht und nutzt er teilweise bereits selbstständig die Orientierung an seinen Bezugspersonen. Darauf lässt sich im weiteren Training sehr gut aufbauen, um ihm zunehmend Sicherheit zu vermitteln. Rassetypisch ist Thilo durchaus verbal und kommentiert verschiedene Situationen gerne. Auch auf Geräusche im Haus reagiert er und meldet diese entsprechend. Das Alleinebleiben für einige Stunden kennt Thilo bereits. Beim Autofahren ist er dagegen noch unsicher und kann Fahrten aktuell noch nicht entspannt bewältigen, da ihm hier oft schlecht wird. Hier sollte mit ihm kleinschrittig und geduldig weitergearbeitet werden. In seinem bisherigen Leben hat Thilo noch nicht allzu viel kennengelernt. Für ihn gibt es daher noch einiges zu entdecken und zu lernen. Gesucht werden Menschen, die ihm mit Ruhe, Geduld und klarer Orientierung begegnen und ihm die nötige Zeit geben, neue Situationen kennenzulernen und zunehmend sicherer zu werden. Thilo bringt dafür eine gute Grundlage mit: Er orientiert sich gerne am Menschen, sucht dessen Nähe und möchte gemeinsam mit seinen Bezugspersonen noch viel lernen.
