Since June, siblings Martin and Cheryll have been staying at our shelter. They were just four weeks old when their mother passed away; the owner lacked the knowledge and resources to hand-rear them and therefore reached out to us. Now the time has come for them to stand on their own two feet and be ready for a new adventure. The puppies have grown up in a foster home, so they’re already familiar with a home environment. Martin and Cheryll love playing with other dogs, enjoy rough-and-tumble fun, and in the evening, they love snuggling up next to you on the couch. We’re looking for a home where they can explore the world and truly be dogs—these adventurers won’t be happy if they’re stuck sitting still all day long. Please keep in mind that puppies still need plenty of training (including potty training) and clear guidance. Time and patience are essential here. Last week, Martin and Cheryll received their second vaccination. They can return to us for their third vaccination (by appointment) during week 35. Martin and Cheryll don’t have to stay together. Sinds juni verblijven broer en zus Martin en Cheryll in onze opvang. Zij waren 4 weken oud toen hun moeder overleed, de eigenaar had niet de kennis en middelen om ze met de hand groot te brengen en heeft contact met ons opgenomen. Inmiddels is de tijd aangebroken dat ze op eigen benen kunnen staan en klaar zijn voor een nieuw avontuur. De pups zijn opgegroeid in een pleeggezin. Het huiselijke is dus niet onbekend voor ze. Martin en Cheryll vinden het leuk om te spelen met andere honden, houden van ravotten en ploffen ‘s avonds graag naast je op de bank. We zoeken voor hen een thuis waar ze de wereld mogen ontdekken en écht hond kunnen zijn. Van heel de dag stilzitten, worden deze avonturiers niet gelukkig. Houd er rekening mee dat pups nog veel opvoeding, (zindelijkheid)training en duidelijkheid nodig hebben. Tijd en geduld is hierin een must. Afgelopen week hebben Martin en Cheryll hun tweede vaccinatie gehad. Voor de derde vaccinatie mogen zij bij ons terugkomen (op afspraak) in week 35. Martin en Cheryll hoeven niet samen te blijven.
