Juniper

Mixed Breed · Female

Can live with: Adult only home Meet Juniper – A Sweet Soul Ready to Shine! Juniper came to RSPCA Bluebell Ridge from a large multi-cat household. Initially, she was very shy and withdrawn, hiding her gentle nature behind cautious eyes. But even then, it was clear that beneath her shyness lay a sweet, loving heart waiting for the right home to let it shine. To help her settle and build confidence, we moved Juniper to a foster home, and the results have been incredible. With patience, love, and plenty of gentle encouragement, Juniper has blossomed. She now showers her foster carer with affection, adores a fuss, and even ‘makes paddy paws’ in the air to show her happiness—her joy is truly contagious! Juniper is looking for a calm, adult-only home with no other pets. She would thrive in a quiet household in a safe area, away from busy roads, where she can feel secure and truly flourish. Could you open your heart and home to this sweet, loving girl? Juniper is ready to give endless love to her forever family—she just needs the right home to make her dreams come true.

About Juniper

What life with Juniper looks like

Juniper is a large adult mixed breed animal waiting at RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Juniper far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Juniper, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Juniper?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Juniper on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Juniper if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Juniper already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Juniper isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Juniper and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
