Adopt Justin

Male · Young · 1 year

Justin is still a puppy – full of energy, joy and this wonderful, youthful curiosity about the world. In his eyes you can see life, in his tail – endless enthusiasm, and in his heart a great need for closeness. Unfortunately, most of his days are spent in the shelter's kennel. He should be growing up by his human's side, learning the world step by step. Justin loves play - he simply loves movement, shared moments and everything that allows him to enjoy life. He is a cheerful, active guy who spreads energy and is able to bring a smile even on a harder day. He gets along very well with other dogs - he gladly develops relationships and enjoys their company. The presence of another dog in the house could be a beautiful support and an additional source of happiness for him. But most important to him is the human. Justin longs for closeness, attention and time spent together. He wants to be someone's. He wants his place, his name spoken with affection, his family. He is a beautiful, loved young dog who deserves a home full of warmth, activity and love. People who will show him that the world has so many more colors than those seen behind bars. Don't let his youth pass waiting. Give Justin a chance for a real life.

A on powinien dorastać u boku swojego człowieka, poznając świat krok po kroku. Justin pragnie bliskości, uwagi i wspólnie spędzanego czasu.

About Justin

What life with Justin looks like

Justin is a medium-sized young adult dog waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Justin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Justin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Justin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Justin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Justin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Justin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Justin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
