Adopt Jutta

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 9 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Jutta can travel directly to her own home! Her story: Cluj, Romania. Hopefully looking into the camera with her large eyes, the sweet Jutta wishes nothing more than to find her own home. This approximately 9-month-old, 32 cm small and 8 kg light young beauty was found homeless and alone on the street by our animal protectors. Thanks to her good fortune, we were able to save her, and now Jutta waits for her people. When she grows up, she will likely keep her small size. Tiny Jutta is not only incredibly cute but also very affectionate, completely uncomplicated, and totally balanced. When it suits her, she can also be very playful. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Like us humans, Jutta is now going through puberty. During this time, she will test her owners and their limits. She is looking for someone who can stand by her during this hormone chaos and provide her with the necessary understanding and support so that she can grow into a great dog. Positive reinforcement training and loving consequences will help her get through this time well and emerge as a strong team. For Jutta would never deliberately annoy you. She often cannot control her behavior during this tumultuous time and hopes that you will always stand behind her during this difficult time. Children living in the household should already be old enough to understand the new companion and not misunderstand her. Surely it would be time now to find new friends in dog training classes and finally be allowed to "learn" something—maybe with you? She is eager to learn the dog ABC and form new friendships. Jutta will microchip, vaccinate, deworm, and be treated for fleas in her new home. She of course brings the EU pet passport with her. For an adoption fee of 450 Euro and only after a positive review, the sweet female dog would also be very happy to have a foster placement. Many thanks to Mareike B.! You have given Jutta her name. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vielen Dank Mareike B.! Du hast Jutta ihren Namen geschenkt.

About Jutta

What life with Jutta looks like

Jutta is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jutta, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jutta?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jutta on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jutta if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jutta already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jutta isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jutta and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
