Cats marked for rescue have an even more urgent need to find a family. This can be due to their age, a specific illness, or distress at the shelter. Kaimaki arrived at the shelter after being found wandering, in a concerning state. After several months in foster care, where she was able to regain strength and receive necessary care, she is now ready to find her forever family. Kaimaki is an extremely gentle and affectionate cat. Very close to humans, she constantly seeks company and greatly appreciates being petted and shown affection. Gourmand and expressive, she knows how to make her wants understood and never misses an opportunity to draw attention from her humans. Health-wise, Kaimaki is a carrier of a significant calicivirus requiring regular monitoring and care. This illness being highly contagious to other cats, she must be adopted into a home without other cats of the same species. She will also need to live exclusively in an apartment. Not suitable for homes with other dogs.

Gourmande et expressive, elle sait faire comprendre ce qu’elle veut et ne manque jamais une occasion d’attirer l’attention de ses humains. Côté santé, Kaimaki est porteuse d’un important calicivirus nécessitant un suivi et des soins réguliers. Cette maladie étant très contagieuse pour les autres chats, elle devra impérativement être adoptée dans un foyer sans congénères. Elle devra également vivre exclusivement en appartement.
