Buddy is a very atypical Kangal, where the retriever genetics come through. With unfamiliar people, he is rather skeptical but remains friendly as long as his primary caregiver is present. He tends to watch over the house and yard. At his core, he is a super type with his heart in the right place. He loves extensive cuddle sessions. Here at our shelter, he shows himself to be very socially competent. Buddy has no issues with female dogs, but with male dogs, it depends on the sympathy. But even there, he can be well moderated. Potential people should have good leadership qualities and still bring a certain degree of gentleness. Deep down in him, he is actually quite a little sensitive soul ;). Due to his size (60cm+), he is only suitable for experienced families with stable children. For an ambitious dog beginner who is willing to seek professional help for the start, Buddy would also be suitable.

Buddy ist ein sehr untypischer Kangal, bei dem die Retrievergenetik durchkommt. Bei ihm unbekannten Personen ist er eher skeptisch, bleibt aber freundlich solange seine Bezugsperson dabei ist. Er neigt dazu, auf Haus und Hof aufzupassen. Im Kern ist er nen super Typ, mit dem Herzen am rechten Fleck. Er liebt ausgiebige Kuscheleinheiten. Hier bei uns zeigt er sich sehr sozialkompetent. Mit Hündinnen hat Buddy keine Schwierigkeiten, bei Rüden entscheidet die Sympathie. Aber auch da lässt er sich gut moderieren. Potenzielle Menschen sollten gute Führungsqualitäten haben und dennoch den gewissen Grad an Sanftheit mitbringen. Tief in ihm ist er dann nämlich doch ein kleines Sensibelchen ;) Wegen seiner Größe (60cm+) nur in erfahrene Familien mit stabile Kinder. Für einen ambitionierten Hundeanfänger/in, der/die bereit ist sich professionelle Hilfe für den Einstieg zu holen, wäre Buddy auch geeignet.
