How do I contact the shelter about Kapsel?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kapsel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Kapsel if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Kapsel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Kapsel isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kapsel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

KAPSEL LOOKS FOR A HOME 🏡❤️ Kapsel is not a dog that immediately jumps into your arms and declares that you are the best of friends. He needs a moment. Peace. A bit of patience. ❤️ At first he is shy, but once he realizes that the person has no ill intentions towards him, something beautiful happens - Kapsel starts to open up and shows how wonderful he is as a dog. 🥹🐾 He is about 3 years old and of medium size. He is also making progress in walking on a leash every day - he is getting better at walks and is becoming more confident that going outside the box can be a really fun adventure. 🌳🐶 Kapsel also gets along with other dogs, so a canine companion can be an additional support and companion for him to discover the world together. We are looking for a person who will not require trust from the first second. A person who will give him time, and then will have great satisfaction, watching this shy little dog blossom step by step. ❤️ Because sometimes the most beautiful relationships start with... "give me a moment". 🐾 📍 Kapsel is waiting for his chance at the Animal Shelter in Zamość. 📞 For adoption: 84 641 12 86 783 856 089 ❤️ Share Kapsel. Maybe someone is just looking for a dog that is worth giving this one, the most important thing - time.

On potrzebuje chwilki. Spokoju.

About Kapsel

What life with Kapsel looks like

Kapsel is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
