KARMA

Female · Kitten · 3 months

Karma and Nova came to our shelter together as strays. Both are female European Shorthair cats and were born around August 2026. Karma and Nova are looking for a loving home together in an apartment setting. They would be very happy with a securely fenced balcony, but this is not a requirement. They are not compatible with other cats, but they form a close-knit duo and would like to move in together. Both cats are playful and are increasingly becoming affectionate and people-oriented companions. Karma is already bolder and is increasingly seeking contact with people. Nova is currently more timid and needs more time, rest, and positive experiences to gain trust. We are looking for patient people who will not pressure Nova and allow her to arrive at her own pace. Larger, understanding children are possible in the new home, as long as they treat the cats respectfully and respect their retreat options. Karma and Nova are too young for spaying/neutering. This must be done at the right time in the new home with their own veterinarian. We are very happy that one of our protégés may soon find a new home with you.

DE·Show original

About KARMA

What life with KARMA looks like

KARMA is a kitten cat waiting at Tierschutzverein München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting KARMA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about KARMA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein München handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw KARMA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt KARMA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein München will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is KARMA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if KARMA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein München early rather than rehoming privately; they know KARMA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
