Karmen to mała, niskopodłogowa psinka o krótszym pyszczku i bardzo delikatnym sercu. Jest nieśmiała i wycofana — obcych ludzi jeszcze się boi, dlatego potrzebuje spokojnego, cierpliwego domu, który da jej czas i poczucie bezpieczeństwa. Za to w psim towarzystwie czuje się znacznie pewniej i świetnie dogaduje się z innymi psami. Karmen szuka kogoś, kto pokaże jej, że świat może być dobrym i bezpiecznym miejscem.
