Karo was discovered a few days ago at the Euskirchen-Kessenich sewage plant. She was limping and was obviously injured. Fortunately, the young cat was secured and brought to us. A veterinary examination revealed that the wound on her paw was already healing and was probably caused by a bite from another cat. Karo has since been spayed and microchipped and can now recover in peace from her experiences. The pretty white female cat is still very young and is currently quite shy and cautious around humans. She just needs some time to gain trust. But we are confident that with patience and loving attention, she will still warm up. We are looking for people who can give her this time and do not expect her to be an instant cuddly cat. Since she is still so young, we can also very well imagine that she will develop into a great house cat - of course with enough occupation and later outdoor access. Karo is looking for a quiet home where she can arrive at her own pace and people who enjoy gaining her trust. Just write to us. Karo wurde vor einigen Tagen an der Kläranlage in Euskirchen-Kessenich entdeckt. Sie humpelte und war offensichtlich verletzt. Zum Glück konnte die junge Katze gesichert und zu uns gebracht werden. Bei der tierärztlichen Untersuchung stellte sich heraus, dass die Wunde an ihrer Pfote bereits am Abheilen war und vermutlich von einem Biss durch eine andere Katze stammt. Karo wurde inzwischen kastriert und gechippt und kann sich nun in Ruhe von ihren Erlebnissen erholen. Die hübsche weiße Kätzin ist noch sehr jung und zeigt sich uns Menschen gegenüber momentan ziemlich schüchtern und vorsichtig. Sie braucht einfach etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Aber wir sind zuversichtlich, dass sie mit Geduld und liebevoller Zuwendung noch ordentlich auftauen wird. Für Karo wünschen wir uns Menschen, die ihr diese Zeit geben und nicht erwarten, dass sie sofort eine Schmusekatze ist. Da sie noch so jung ist, können wir uns auch sehr gut vorstellen, dass sie sich zu einer tollen Hauskatze entwickelt – natürlich mit genügend Beschäftigung und späterem Freigang. Karo sucht ein ruhiges Zuhause, in dem sie in ihrem eigenen Tempo ankommen darf und Menschen, die Freude daran haben, ihr Vertrauen zu gewinnen.
