I'm Kate, a young, medium-length-haired, black-and-tan, medium-sized, mixed breed German Shepherd. I was brought to the shelter after a difficult rescue and relocation operation. I'm a mix of husky and German Shepherd, the result of a reckless breeding attempt. I was born and raised in a chaotic pack where every individual fought for survival and food, where the laws of nature prevailed, and in a situation where humans could no longer intervene. I had to dig up tree roots to eat... When I arrived at the shelter, I had no reference points, was disoriented, traumatized by the capture, and stunned by the new environment.
