A 5-year-old male neutered cat named Glöckchen is available for adoption from our shelter. He is a single or pair animal and can adapt to living in an apartment with a secure garden or outdoor access. Upon adoption, he will be dewormed, de-fleaed, microchipped, and vaccinated against distemper. The adoption fee is 200 euros. Glöckchen was rescued as a stray cat last November and neutered by our shelter. He was allowed to stay with the person who reported him. His caregiver lovingly cared for him and informed us about his progress. Over time, Glöckchen became more affectionate towards her and would freely enter and leave her apartment, seeking pets from her. He had found a real home and developed into a house cat. Unfortunately, Glöckchen's life took a turn for the worse when his caregiver suddenly passed away. Her family will be able to care for their other cat but not for Glöckchen, who was once a stray. We are urgently seeking a foster home for Glöckchen, preferably with an option for a permanent adoption. As far as we know, Glöckchen gets along well with other cats. He is not very affectionate but loves his human and shows it in his own way. His future home should have outdoor access. If you are only interested in fostering, this is also possible. Er durfte dort bleiben, wo er uns gemeldet wurde. Liebevoll versorgt von der Melderin, die uns damals informierte.In den letzten Monaten hat sich unser Streuner immer weiter seiner Dosenöffnerin geöffnet. Aus dem ehemaligen Straßenkater wurde eine richtige Schmusebacke! Selbst Fremden tritt er freundlich und neugierig gegenüber.Jetzt hat Glöckchen ein großes Unglück ereilt. Diese liebe Katzen-Freundin ist leider plötzlich verstorben. Das kam für alle sehr unerwartet. Ihre Angehörigen werden sich zwar weiter um ihre andere Katze kümmern können, aber nicht um Glöckchen, den ehemaligen Streuner. Jetzt lebt Glöckchen auf einer unserer Pflegestellen.Glöckchen ist mit Artgenossen verträglich. Er hat sich als wirkliche Schmusekatze geoutet und uns damit selbst überrascht. Er fordert aktiv Schmusezeit ein, ist verspielt und aktiv. Sein späteres Zuhause sollte auf jeden Fall über Freigang verfügen. Ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung würde ihm auf die Dauer nicht reichen.Aus einem ehemaligen Streuner ist ein wirklicher Traumkater geworden.Glöckchen kann gerne auf seiner Pflegestelle in Köln besucht werden.
