Django, a small, shy cat, arrived at the shelter in late June with his siblings Viola and Vito. He is still hesitant around people and prefers to hide quietly in a cat tree. With other cats, he is wild, playful, mischievous, and lively, but only people make him nervous. With patience, understanding, and time, this shyness will fade. Django was born in May and is ready for a new home, ideally with or alongside a similarly aged tomcat, which would make the adjustment and building trust easier. Viola and Vito, both black and white, joined Django at the shelter. They sometimes observe their surroundings from a safe distance, but are actually very curious and definitely ready for a new home. They enjoy playing and roughhousing and won't take long to trust their new environment. Also born in May 2026, they are eager to find a new home. D.J. and Anchalie came to the shelter in mid-July. When they fell ill, their owners couldn't afford a vet. Now healthy and happy, they are looking for a new home, either together or separately, but being with other cats would be possible. They are affectionate, loving, and playful, and naturally curious. The two are Persian mixes and were born on 4/13/2026.

Der kleine Django kam Ende Juni mit seinen Geschwistern Viola und Vito zu uns. Er ist Menschen gegenüber noch schüchtern und versteckt sich an liebsten heimlich, still und leise in einer Kratzbaumhöhle. Anderen Katzen gegenüber ist er wie jedes andere Katzenkind – wild, verspielt, frech, albern, lebhaft – es sind nur noch die Menschen, die ihm Angst machen. Mit Geduld, Verständnis und Zeit wird sich diese Scheu aber verlieren. Django wurde im Mai geboren und ist bereit für sein neues Zuhause – gern zu oder mit einem etwa gleichaltrigen Katerchen, das würde ihm die Eingewöhnung und das Vertrauen fassen erleichtern. Viola und Vito – beide schwarz weiß – kamen mit Django zu uns ins Tierheim. Manchmal betrachten sie noch mit Sicherheitsabstand was um sie herum passiert, aber eigentlich sind sie sehr neugierig und auf jeden Fall bereit für ein neues Zuhause. Sie spielen und toben gern und werden im neuen Zuhause nicht allzu lang brauchen um Vertrauen zu fassen. Auch diese beiden sind im Mai 2026 geboren. Neben diesen drei Kitten warten noch viele weitere Katzenwelpen auf ein neues Zuhause.
