Kaya's Story: As a young dog, Kaya was found on the streets. She has now lived with her Dutch owners in Turkey for six years, along with other dogs and cats. As a result, she is accustomed to living in a domestic environment and knows how to live with other animals. Kaya is a loyal, friendly dog looking for a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention, cuddles, and enough space to be herself. Unfortunately, her owners are forced to return to the Netherlands due to health issues. Therefore, we would like to ensure that Kaya and her friend Izzy find a new loving home. It would be nice if Kaya and Izzy could stay together, but that is not a requirement. Kaya is a sweet cuddly bear who loves walking together and enjoys being stroked. She thoroughly enjoys a spacious garden where she can run around and burn off her energy. She loves walking and also enjoys running. She generally walks nicely on a leash, although she can sometimes pull when she sees an unfamiliar dog or cat. She is not bothered by cars, motorcycles, or other traffic. Kaya always greets you enthusiastically and is happy to come over for a pat or some extra attention. At home, she is calm and content. She prefers to sleep in a bed that is actually a bit too small for her, but she also likes to lie down relaxed on the bedroom floor. She finds thunderstorms exciting; at such times, she likes to be close to her trusted people or find a safe place in the house. Het verhaal van Kaya: Als jonge hond is Kaya op straat gevonden. Inmiddels heeft ze zes jaar bij haar Nederlandse baasjes in Turkije gewoond, samen met andere honden en katten. Ze is daardoor gewend aan het leven in een huiselijke omgeving en kent het samenleven met andere dieren. Kaya is een trouwe, vriendelijke hond die op zoek is naar een liefdevol thuis waar ze veel aandacht, knuffels en voldoende ruimte krijgt om zichzelf te zijn. Haar baasjes zijn helaas wegens gezondheidsproblemen genoodzaakt terug te keren naar Nederland. Daarom willen wij graag zorgen dat Kaya en haar vriendinnetje Izzy een nieuw liefdevol thuis vinden. Het zou fijn zijn als Kaya en Izzy bij elkaar kunnen blijven, maar dat is geen voorwaarde. Kaya is een lieve knuffelbeer die dol is op samen wandelen en graag geaaid wordt. Ze geniet enorm van een ruime tuin waar ze lekker kan rondrennen en haar energie kwijt kan. Wandelen vindt ze heerlijk en ze gaat ook graag mee hardlopen. Aan de lijn loopt ze over het algemeen netjes, al kan ze soms trekken wanneer ze een onbekende hond of kat ziet. Van auto's, motoren en ander verkeer trekt ze zich niets aan. Kaya begroet je altijd enthousiast en komt graag even langs voor een aai of wat extra aandacht. Thuis is ze rustig en tevreden. Ze slaapt het liefst in een mand die eigenlijk nét iets te klein is voor haar, maar ze ligt ook graag ontspannen op de slaapkamer. Onweer vindt ze wel spannend; op zulke momenten zoekt ze graag de nabijheid van haar vertrouwde mensen of vindt ze een veilige plek in huis.
