Kees, a lady with many faces! Kees came from a warm and loving family and still needs to settle in with us. But little by little, she shows who she is: a real lady. And what a one! Sometimes she looks at you with her puppy head, other times she is tough and strong, and then again that mischievous look. To fall in love! See the photos, they speak volumes. What do you need to know about Kees? Kees IS cuddling. As she was described in the shelter as a puppy: Kees is one big cuddly bottom. Does the whole family sit on the couch? Then she just lies down there, or on top. Looks at you with loving eyes and starts to purr. She really talks to you. And she makes it very clear when it's time for dinner. - 100% Podenco: She likes to chase birds and frogs in the garden (fortunately she doesn't dig). Does she see a hole in the hedge? Then she goes right through it. She is very smart, with real clownish Podenco traits. She has great big ears, but only uses them when she wants to. - Nose on position 10: Her nose is always on the go. Her nose is too good, especially for yummy things and the trail of a cat. Kees can't be loose. With walking you sometimes have to be firm, although she walks nicely on the leash. Scent lessons would really be something for her! - Clumsy and sweet: She can be clumsy, but she means it so well. She just knows what she wants. She always finds people fun. Kees in short: - Podenco Canario from Tenerife - Will be 5 years old on December 7th - The tip of her tail is white and always wags or stands up curiously - Cat-proof in the house! - Big cuddler and talkative - Calm indoors, completely at ease outdoors - Everybody's friend, also with visitors We are looking for Kees: People who fall for clumsy and sweet. Who know what a Podenco entails. A house with a lovely couch where she can lie down, where she gets a lot of cuddles and where she can just be herself. Because this lady deserves it.

In de opvang in Nederland Input 25 september 2026: Kees, een dame met vele gezichten! Kees kwam uit een warm en liefdevol gezin en moet bij ons nog een beetje aarden. Maar beetje bij beetje laat ze zien wie ze is: een echte dame. En wat voor één! De ene keer kijkt ze je aan met haar puppy-hoofd, het andere moment is ze stoer en sterk, en dan weer die ondeugende blik. Om verliefd op te worden! Zie de foto's, die spreken boekdelen. Wat moet je weten over Kees? Kees IS knuffelen. Zoals ze als pup in het asiel al werd beschreven: Kees is één grote knuffelkont. Zit het hele gezin op de bank? Dan komt ze er gewoon lekker TUSSEN of bovenop liggen. Kijkt je aan met verliefde oogjes en begint heerlijk te brabbelen. Ze praat écht tegen je. En ze laat heel duidelijk weten wanneer het etenstijd is. - 100% Podenco: Ze jaagt graag achter vogels en kikkers in de tuin aan (graven doet ze gelukkig niet). Ziet ze een gaatje in de heg? Dan gaat ze er dwars doorheen. Ze is erg slim, met echte clowneske Podenco-trekken. Ze heeft geweldige grote oren, maar gebruikt ze alleen als zij daar zelf zin in heeft. - Neus op standje 10: Buiten staat haar neus aan. Haar neus doet het té goed, vooral voor lekkere dingen en het spoor van een kat. Kees kan dus absoluut niet los. Met wandelen moet je soms stevig in je schoenen staan, al loopt ze verder heel netjes aan de riem. Speurlessen zouden echt iets voor haar zijn! - Lomp én lief: Ze kan lekker lomp uit de hoek komen, maar ze bedoelt het zó goed. Ze weet gewoon wat ze wil. Mensen vindt ze altijd gezellig.
