Adopt Kim2

Mixed Breed · Male

Description Our animal welfare workers report: Kim, an elegant, wonderfully beautiful Breton male dog, was seen for several days on a construction site. He wandered around there, thin and obviously on his own. Yet he stayed at this place, as if patiently waiting for someone who never came back. His quiet perseverance shows how much he must have hung on to his former human. But no one appeared. Despite this sad experience, Kim has not lost his kindness. On the contrary: he meets everyone openly, gently, and without any hesitation. He enjoys cuddles, seeks proximity, and shows a deep trust that immediately warms the heart. He also gets along exceptionally well with other dogs. He loves the company of fellow animals, moves confidently in groups, and brings an especially social nature. Whether human or dog – the medium-sized male dog meets everyone with warmth and kindness. Now this special boy is searching for a home where he gets exactly what he so deserves: security, and people who will never leave him. A place where he can arrive, flourish, and stay forever. Who would like to give back the trust in us two-leggeds to the social, cooperative Kim, who has such a good heart? Information on the Breton Update22.02.2026 new pictures and videos Please note:

About Kim2

What life with Kim2 looks like

Kim2 is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kim2, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kim2?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kim2 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kim2 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kim2 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kim2 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kim2 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
