Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 5 years

Kina has been with us at our shelter since December 2025. She is known to be friendly with children and cats – she’s stürmisch and aktiv – and she has basic commands. She is well-leash trained, especially with clear guidance. She is highly predatory, watchful, barks, and is playful. Kina is a very happy and good-natured female dog. She can be stürmisch and doesn’t always know what to do with her energy, especially when she’s overjoyed about affection or walks. However, she is always friendly with her person and can be spoken to and calmed down when she gets too excited. Kina wants to learn a few more things from the Hundebasis ABC and would benefit from dog training classes or dog sports. She shows a high level of predatory behavior, so we are looking for a home without small pets/kittens for Kina. During walks, she not only wants to go hunting and is very much on the ground with her nose, but she also finds other dogs rather doof. She shows this with barking. Some training is still needed, but she has improved significantly and just needs someone to give her clear guidance. Due to this behavior, Kina is maulkorbgewöhnt and wears this for safety during walks. Kina is generally, however, friendly by sympathy. She can already be left alone for a while. She is very food-motivated and can still learn many new things! She is watchful and reacts to noises. A quieter living situation or a leisurely located yard would be ideal, where she can be a guard dog for the property. Kina is very playful, likes to show off the tricks she can do when she has a treat, and is overall really a real magic mouse – with just a little more training needed. She has a dental defect that should be monitored but does not restrict her. If you would like to meet Kina, feel free to contact us via email or phone. Kina is looking forward to meeting you!.

About Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind

What life with Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind looks like

Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Oldenburg in Oldenburg.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Oldenburg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Oldenburg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Oldenburg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kina - liebevoller Wirbelwind and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
