Kinder

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 4 months

Totally unexpectantly, Kinder loses its current home because the existing only dog won't accept it. Even several weeks of training have unfortunately changed nothing. Therefore, Kinder must now sadly pack its little suitcase and continue on its journey. Throughout, Kinder always shows itself to be friendly, submissive, and absolutely compatible. For this reason, we now desperately wish for a loving home for him, where he can finally belong. Kinder is a typical puppy/junghund – playful, sometimes a bit clumsy, always cheerful and in good spirits, but most of all incredibly cuddly and simply irresistible. He is a lively little fellow who loves to play, snuggle, and explore the world. At the same time, he shows every day how much is in him, because he learns quickly and with great joy. "Sit" and "Wait" are already mastered well, and outside, he orientates himself well to his people and often comes back reliably when called. Walking on the leash is also being practiced, although he still needs some security and consistent guidance here. In everyday life, Kinder is a pleasant companion. Car rides are mastered quite relaxed, he often sleeps or is occupied with a toy. At night, he can already sleep through if taken out early in the morning. He is a very social dog who gets along well with children, accepts cats, and loves other dogs. Kinder is looking for people who love him, provide him with the necessary stimulation, and patiently and lovingly accompany him through his puppy phase. He is a beautiful little dream dog with a big heart, waiting to find his own family and explore the world with them. Maybe you are exactly Kinder's person? Contact us if you want to meet Kinder – he is eagerly waiting for his happiness. The little Kinder was found alone on the street. No one knows exactly how long he had been there. Eventually, he came to the city animal shelter. But there, the places are scarce, and the staff turned to Adoromimos and asked for help. So, the little lad got to move into an Adoromimos foster home. There, a new chapter begins for him – one full of care, security, and new experiences. This is a young, adolescent dog.

DE·Show original

About Kinder

What life with Kinder looks like

Kinder is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Europa in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kinder, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kinder?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Europa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kinder on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kinder if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Europa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kinder already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kinder isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Europa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kinder and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
