Despite a very sad start to life, she has not lost her sunny disposition. Together with her three siblings and mother, Kindra, found freezing and hungry in a field, was just in time rescued. She now waits at a Romanian foster home, hoping to travel to a beautiful forever home. Kindra, who loves playing with other dogs, especially her siblings, still shows great fear towards people. Unfamiliar situations make her very insecure. Perhaps the harsh first weeks of life have left their mark on her. Kindra needs time and patience to get used to normal dog life step by step. She must also learn the puppy ABC in peace, which will succeed if Kindra feels protected and cared for. Since she is likely to carry herdsman dog genes, Kindra can only grow up in the countryside. She needs a large garden to develop naturally, as HSH-felt noses were once bred to watch or protect livestock herds. This means that Kindra will display a pronounced territorial behavior and requires mental and physical exertion. Clear rules and clear leadership are absolutely necessary. Kindra should be rehomed only with experienced dog owners. Another challenge in the coming weeks will be puberty. During this phase of hormonal changes, defiance or forgetfulness may occur. Nun möchten wir euch Kindra vorstellen, die fast jedes menschliche Herz zum Schmelzen bringt. Trotz eines sehr traurigen Start ins Leben hat sie ihr sonniges Gemüt nicht verloren. Gemeinsam mit den drei Geschwisterchen und der Mutter wurde Kindra, frierend und hungrig, in einem Feld gefunden und gerade noch rechtzeitig gerettet. Auf einer rumänischen Pflegestelle wartet sie nun darauf, in ein schönes Für-immer-Zuhause reisen zu dürfen. Kindra, die es liebt, mit anderen Hunden, vor allem den Geschwistern, zu spielen, zeigt sich Menschen gegenüber noch sehr ängstlich. Ungewohnte Situationen machen sie sehr unsicher. Wahrscheinlich haben ihr die schlimmen ersten Lebenswochen sehr zugesetzt. Kindra benötigt Zeit und Geduld, um sich Pfote für Pfote an das normale Hundeleben heranzutasten. Das Welpen-ABC muss sie ebenfalls in aller Ruhe lernen, was auch gelingen wird, wenn sich Kindra beschützt und umsorgt fühlt. Da sie mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit Herdenschutzhund-Gene in sich trägt, kann Kindra nur im ländlichen Raum aufwachsen. Sie benötigt einen großen Garten, um sich artgerecht entfalten zu können, denn HSH-Fellnasen wurden einst gezüchtet, um Viehherden zu bewachen bzw. zu beschützen. Das bedeutet, dass Kindra ein ausgeprägtes Territorialverhalten an den Tag legen wird und geistige sowie körperliche Auslastung braucht. Zudem sind klare Regeln sowie prägnante Führung absolut notwendig. Kindra sollte entsprechend nur an erfahrene Hunde-Halterinnen bzw. Halter vermittelt werden.
