INFORMATION: Found dog – upon arrival: high-energy – now: King came to our shelter as a blank slate—having received no prior training, he was extremely high-energy and restless. However, during his time with us, he’s made tremendous progress! It turns out he’s an incredibly eager and intelligent dog. What he can already do: He excels at basic commands such as “sit,” “down,” and “give paw.” How he is around people: Initially, he tends to be slightly wary of strangers. But once he gains your trust, he becomes an absolute cuddlebug who loves human contact and being scratched behind the ears. Motivation: He’s a big foodie! He absolutely loves treats, so further training and learning are very easy with the right motivation. Exercise and walks: On the leash, he still tends to pull. He’s happiest in a free-run area where he can happily run around, sniff, and explore his surroundings. Important notes: King has strongly developed hunting instincts. For this reason, he’s completely unsuitable for cats, poultry, or other farm animals. In his new home, we recommend him rather as an only pet. What kind of home does King need? The ideal setting for him would be a family home with a securely fenced yard where he can get plenty of exercise. However, it’s essential that he has free access indoors—King loves human company, doesn’t want to live isolated in a kennel, and is spotless when it comes to hygiene. King urgently needs an experienced, patient, and consistent owner who will set clear boundaries for him yet also shower him with lots of love. If you invest your time in him, you’ll gain an incredibly devoted and loyal companion for life. Before adoption, multiple meet-and-greet visits will be required. INFORMACE: nalezenec -po příchodu: temperamentní -nyní: King k nám do útulku přišel jako nepopsaný list – nepoznal žádnou výchovu, byl velmi temperamentní a uskákaný. Za dobu strávenou u nás ale udělal obrovské pokroky! Ukázalo se, že je to neskutečně učenlivý a bystrý pes.Co už umí: Skvěle zvládá základní povely jako „sedni“, „lehni“ nebo „pac“ .Jaký je k lidem: K cizím lidem bývá zpočátku lehce nedůvěřivý. Jakmile si ale získáte jeho důvěru, stane se z něj obrovský mazel, který miluje lidský kontakt a drbání na zádech.Motivace: Je to velký gurmán! Miluje pamlsky, takže další učení a výcvik s ním jdou díky správné motivaci velmi snadno.Pohyb a procházky: Na vodítku má zatím tendenci táhnout. Nejšťastnější je ve volném výběhu, kde může vesele pobíhat, čenichat a zkoumat okolí. Důležitá upozornění:King má silně vyvinuté lovecké pudy. Z tohoto důvodu je naprosto nevhodný ke kočkám, drůbeži či jiným hospodářským zvířatům. V novém domově ho doporučujeme spíše jako zvířecího jedináčka. Jaký domov King hledá?Ideálním zázemím pro něj bude rodinný domek s dobře zabezpečenou zahradou, kde se může dostatečně vyběhat. Podmínkou je však volný přístup dovnitř do domu – King miluje lidskou společnost, nechce žít izolovaně v kotci a hygienu zvládá na jedničku.King nutně potřebuje zkušeného, trpělivého a důsledného páníčka, který mu nastaví jasné hranice, ale zároveň mu dá moře lásky. Pokud do něj investujete svůj čas, získáte neuvěřitelně oddaného a věrného parťáka na celý život. Před adopcí bude nutno absolvovat více návštěv k seznámení.
