We had tried to help her before, but she was simply too frightened to come close. Then one day she disappeared. When we finally found her, she was in a kill shelter, exhausted, frightened and running out of time. Thankfully, that wasn't the end of her story. For the first time, Klara allowed us to get close. She is now safe with us and on her way to the life she has always deserved. Although she is still a little unsure of everything around her, she has shown herself to be an incredibly gentle, calm and sweet-natured girl who responds with quiet gratitude to every act of kindness. Once fully recovered, this gentle old lady will be ready to start looking for the loving family she has waited so long to find.
