Klára originally came to us for sterilization from the village. At first, we noticed that she had lost hair on her left ear, but it was her persistent elevated temperature and cough that caused us the most concern. Despite the treatment, her condition did not improve, so she underwent further examinations and a change in treatment. After a series of tests, she was diagnosed with eosinophilic bronchopneumonia, which was causing her cough and breathing difficulties. Her condition is currently stabilized and she feels well, but she is still under veterinary supervision. In the morning, she inhales Ventolin and Flixotide, and in the evening, she takes Dermipred (1/4 tablet per day). The treatment is being gradually adjusted - the doses will be gradually reduced every other day for 3-4 weeks, and then it will be seen whether it will be possible to completely stop the medication. However, it is not excluded that she may have to take Dermipred long-term. Klárka is a calm and low-maintenance female dog who enjoys warmth, a comfortable bed, and a full bowl. She is friendly with people, but also knows how to guard her territory - in the crate she barks and can appear measured. However, she has not shown any aggression during direct contact and handling her is trouble-free. She gets along well with other dogs, as long as they don't annoy her - if they are too pushy, she can keep them away. However, she does not get along with female dogs. She has good hygiene habits and behaves politely in the house, nothing is destroyed. Klára is looking for a home in an apartment or a house with full access to the yard. She is suitable for people with a balanced lifestyle - neither too hectic nor too quiet. She will be a great companion for trips, but also enjoys lounging in a comfortable bed.

Klára k nám pôvodne prišla na sterilizáciu z osady. Už pri príchode sme si všimli, že má vypadanú srsť na ľavej ušnici, no vážnejšie obavy nám spôsobila až jej pretrvávajúca zvýšená teplota a kašeľ. Napriek nasadenej liečbe sa jej stav nezlepšoval, a tak podstúpila ďalšie vyšetrenia a zmenu liečby. Po sérii vyšetrení jej bola diagnostikovaná eozinofilná bronchopneumónia, ktorá spôsobovala jej kašeľ a dýchacie ťažkosti. Momentálne je jej stav stabilizovaný a cíti sa dobre, no stále je pod veterinárnym dohľadom. Ráno inhaluje Ventolin a Flixotide, večer užíva Dermipred (1/4 tablety denne). Liečba sa postupne upravuje – dávky sa budú postupne znižovať na každý druhý deň po dobu 3-4 týždňov, a potom sa uvidí, či bude možné lieky úplne vysadiť. Nie je však vylúčené, že bude musieť Dermipred užívať dlhodobo. Klárka je pokojná a nenáročná fenka, ktorá si najviac užíva teplo, pohodlný peliešok a plnú misku. S ľuďmi je priateľská, no zároveň si vie strážiť svoje územie – v kotereci vyštekáva a môže pôsobiť odmerane. Pri priamom kontakte však doteraz neprejavila agresivitu a manipulácia s ňou je bezproblémová. So psami vychádza dobre, pokiaľ ju neotravujú – ak sú príliš dotieraví, vie si ich od seba odohnať. S fenkami sa však neznesie. Hygienické návyky má zvládnuté a dnu sa správa slušne, nič neničí. Klára si hľadá domov v byte alebo v dome s úplným prístupom dnu. Je vhodná pre ľudí, ktorí majú vyvážené životné tempo – ani príliš hektické, ani príliš pokojné. Bude skvelou parťáčkou na výlety, no zároveň si rada užije aj leňošenie v pohodlnom peliešku.
